Job summary

Beacon Hospital in Dublin is seeking an experienced Oral Chemotherapy Liaison Nurse to lead oncology nursing initiatives and coordinate safe delivery of oral systemic therapies. You will educate patients and families, liaise with MDT members, and uphold quality and governance in cancer care.

The role requires 5+ years post-registration, 3+ years in medical oncology, and 2+ years of oncology management experience, with strong IT and teaching skills in a multidisciplinary setting.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years post registration experience.
• 3 years experience in the area of medical oncology.
• 2 years management in Oncology at CNM 1 level or above.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership within Oncology and Haematology services at Beacon Hospital.
• Coordinate the safe delivery of oral chemotherapy and systemic anti-cancer treatments.
• Educate patients and families about oral anti-cancer therapies and follow-up care.
• Work within a multidisciplinary team and participate in policy development.
• Maintain accurate clinical records and ensure governance and safety standards.
