Job summary

Alignerr is seeking an Oncology Clinical Researcher to shape how AI understands oncology data and trials. This remote, hourly contract role focuses on evaluating AI-trained oncology outputs against regulatory and clinical standards.

You will design and critique trial protocols, analyze biomarker data, and ensure that AI-derived insights meet FDA/EMA expectations while you work autonomously on a flexible schedule.

Qualifications

• Experienced in designing and managing oncology clinical trials from protocol development through data readout.
• Strong background in analyzing oncology clinical data, including endpoints, safety profiles, and biomarkers.
• Familiar with regulatory submission standards for FDA/EMA.
• Detail-oriented with a systematic, rigorous approach to scientific evaluation.

Responsibilities

• Design and evaluate oncology clinical trial protocols, covering patient enrollment, regulatory compliance, and ethical standards.
• Analyze cancer trial data — including safety profiles, efficacy outcomes, and biomarker results — to assess treatment performance.
• Translate trial outcomes into regulatory and scientific frameworks aligned with FDA, EMA, and other major agency standards.
• Review and critique AI-generated oncology insights for clinical accuracy, scientific relevance, and regulatory alignment.
• Flag errors, gaps, and misrepresentations in AI outputs related to cancer research and clinical trial methodology.
• Work independently and asynchronously — fully on your own schedule.
