Job summary

TTM Healthcare Solutions partnered with a leading organisation to hire a Senior Occupational Therapist based in Westmeath for temporary work, 35 hours per week. This full-time role offers an extended booking within a single service and market-leading pay rates with weekly pay.

Applicants must be CORU registered with an OT degree, eligible to work in Ireland, and prepared to undergo Garda Vetting and police clearance. Driving licence and access to a car are advantageous.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution.
• CORU registered.
• Full driving licence and access to own car is desirable.
• Resident in Ireland and legal right to work in Ireland without restriction.
• Garda Vetting required.
• International Police Clearance if lived outside Ireland for more than 6 months after age 16.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of elderly patients to identify physical, mental, and functional abilities.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient's needs and goals.
• Utilize therapeutic techniques to improve daily living skills, cognitive function, and emotional well-being.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver holistic care.
• Educate patients and families on adaptive techniques and equipment for home-based care.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient assessments, plans, and progress.
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to case discussions and care planning.
