Renvolt continues to expand its Operations & Maintenance presence in Ireland, seeking an O&M Technician to support solar assets near Waterford. You will perform on-site and remote troubleshooting, maintenance activities, and assist in commissioning to ensure long-term performance.

Qualifications

  • Experience commissioning and maintaining photovoltaic power plants.
  • Electronics and automation fault detection techniques and troubleshooting.
  • Maintenance Management - Standards and Continuous Improvement Process.
  • Experience in SCADA and remote-control systems.
  • Experience in data acquisition and communications systems.
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Office and reporting software.
  • Advanced English reading/writing/speaking (mandatory).
  • Must have a valid Irish driver license.

Responsibilities

  • Provide fast on-site and remote troubleshooting, fault recovery for production re-establishment.
  • Carry out on-site specialized technical maintenance activities.
  • Participate in Integrated Commissioning & Start-up activities.
  • Carry out on-site technical assessments.
  • Provide technical reports and evidence to support claiming processes.
  • Provide training and technical workshops to spread maintenance competences.
  • Participate in the development of maintenance management processes and systems.
  • Produce technical documentation to support the maintenance activity.
  • Recommend/study more effective and efficient maintenance practices and tools.
  • Disseminate good practices and standards.
  • Contribute to reliability studies and failures analysis.
  • Participate in monitoring and auditing processes and activities.

Renvolt continues to expand its Operations & Maintenance (O&M) presence across Ireland, strengthening the long-term performance and reliability of our solar assets.

We are seeking skilled professionals located near our sites, preferably in the Waterford area, to ensure strong local support, fast response times, and efficient on-site operations.

Reporting to the O&M Site Manager, the O&M Technician has the following responsibilities:

  • Provide fast on-site and remote troubleshooting, recommend and implement fault recovery solutions for production re-establishment;
  • Carry out on-site specialized technical maintenance activities;
  • Participate in Integrated Commissioning & Start-up activities;
  • Carry out on-site technical assessments;
  • Provide technical reports and evidence to support claiming processes;
  • Provide training and technical workshops to spread and consolidate maintenance competences and skills;
  • Participate in the development of maintenance management processes and systems;
  • Produce technical documentation to support the maintenance activity;
  • Recommend/ study more effective and efficient maintenance practices and tools;
  • Disseminate good practices and standards;
  • Contribute to the development of reliability studies and failures analysis;
  • Participate in monitoring and auditing implemented processes, procedures and activities.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCES

The ideal candidate will be/have:

  • Experience in commissioning and maintenance of photovoltaic power plants (preferred);
  • Experience in electronics and automation fault detection techniques and troubleshooting;
  • Maintenance Management - Standards and Continues Improvement Process;
  • Experience in SCADA and remote-control systems;
