Job summary

Ethos Care Group is seeking a compassionate Staff Nurse to deliver high-quality, person-centred care to residents in our Irish nursing home. You will lead by example, meet residents’ physical, emotional and social needs, and uphold high clinical standards.

The ideal candidate is an Registered General Nurse with an active NMBI PIN, currently living in Ireland and eligible to work here. Prior nursing home or older persons care experience is desirable, with HIQA standards knowledge and strong

Qualifications

• Registered General Nurse with an active NMBI PIN.
• Currently living in Ireland and eligible to work in Ireland.
• Experience in nursing home, older persons' care, rehabilitation or acute hospital setting desirable.
• Knowledge of HIQA standards and person-centred care practices is advantageous.
• Excellent clinical, communication and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver excellent nursing care while promoting residents' dignity, independence and respect.
• Support, mentor and supervise healthcare assistants and care staff.
• Ensure compliance with clinical standards, policies, procedures and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and resident records.
• Assist with audits, inspections and quality improvement initiatives.
• Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to achieve the best outcomes for residents.
• Contribute to a positive, safe and person-centred care environment.

About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Staff Nurse to deliver high-quality, person-centred care to residents in a supportive nursing home environment. You will lead by example, ensuring residents’ physical, emotional, and social needs are met while maintaining the highest standards of clinical practice. This role is ideally suited to nurses currently living in Ireland who have relevant clinical experience and are passionate about providing exceptional care to older persons.

Key Responsibilities
