Job summary

Roadstone is seeking a Night Shift Supervisor for Belgard Quarry in Ireland. The role focuses on safe, continuous nighttime production, plant operation, and close liaison with management to plan maintenance and meet production targets.

The successful candidate will have proven plant operation experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to work on their own initiative within a safety‑driven, materials production environment.

Qualifications

Ability to be a Team player and work on own initiative.
Proven track record in operating plant and/or quarry vehicles.
Excellent communication skills.
Self-driven with flexibility to operate different company machinery.
Experience in construction materials production.

Responsibilities

Awareness & implementation of Health & Safety standards and ensuring site operates to high safety standards.
Primarily working a night shift.
Ensuring safe, efficient and continuous production throughout the night shift.
Proactive monitoring of plant performance and completing plant checklists.
Liaise with management on plant requirements.
Operating and monitoring the crushing plant.
Identify and implement maintenance requirements with local management.
Operate mobile equipment and plant to support quarry operations.

Role: Night Shift Supervisor – Belgard Quarry

Reporting to: Location Manager, Belgard Quarry

Key Areas of Responsibility:

Awareness & implementation of all elements of Health & Safety & ensuring our location strictly operates to our high Health & Safety standards.
Primarily working a night shift.
Ensuring safe, efficient and continuous production throughout the night shift.
Proactive monitoring of plant performance and carrying out plant checklists.
Liaise with management on an ongoing basis on plant requirements.
Operating and monitoring the crushing plant.
Willingness to work with local management to identify, plan and implement maintenance requirements in a safe and effective manner.
Operating mobile equipment and mobile plant as required to support quarry and crushing plant operations.

About The Role

The following knowledge, skills and competencies are required for this role:

Ability to be a Team player with an ability to work on own initiative.
Proven track record in taking responsibility, operating plant and/or quarry vehicles.
Excellent communication skills.
Be self-driven with desire to show flexibility as required in operating different company machinery.
Experience in company construction materials and it would be requirements in their production.
