Job summary

Applegreen Stores is seeking a Night Shift Operator for the Birdhill site. You will be responsible for front-line operations during the night, ensuring the shop runs smoothly, security measures are in place, and the area remains clean and safe for customers and colleagues.

Ideal candidates have prior retail experience, strong communication skills, and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment. A reliable transport link is preferred due to the motorway location.

• Experience in a retail environment is desirable.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate the shop at night according to policy and checklist.
• Ensure all perimeter alarms are active and the site is secure.
• Maintain a clean, tidy, and safe shop area.
• Ensure accurate price labelling of products.
• Manage stock rotation and shelving.

What will I be doing as a Night Shift Operator at Applegreen?

• Operating the shop in line with company policy throughout the night as per shop checklist.
• Ensure all perimeter alarms are activated.
• Ensure the site building is secure throughout the night.
• Keep the shop area clean, tidy, and safe.
• Ensure accurate price labelling of products.
• Stock rotation and shelf stacking.
