Responsibilities

• Check in late arrivals and check out early departures.
• Provide porterage service as required.
• Perform general cleaning duties during the night shift.

• Handle guest requests promptly and professionally.

Night Porter Glenroyal Hotel & Leisure Club

The 4-star Glenroyal Hotel & Leisure Club is seeking a friendly and dependable Night Porter to join our fantastic team. Conveniently located just a short stroll from Maynooth town centre and only a 25-minute drive from Dublin City Centre, the Glenroyal Hotel is easily accessible via national rail and bus services.

Role Overview

As a Night Porter with the Glenroyal Hotel, you will work closely with the Night Manager to help keep the hotel running smoothly throughout the night. This is an ideal role for someone with a strong sense of responsibility, attention to detail, and a friendly, can-do attitude. The working hours for this role are from 10.45pm to 7.15am.

Main Responsibilities

• Checking in late arrivals & checking out early departures
• Porterage service as required
• General cleaning duties during the night shift
• Preparing reports & completing the night audit as required
• Conducting regular Hotel security and fire walks
• Room & bar service as needed
• Handling guest requests promptly and professionally

Skills & Experience Requirements

• Strong written & spoken English
• Experience in a similar role is an advantage
• Demonstrated ability to work on your own initiative
• Flexibility to work up to 5 night shifts between Monday & Sunday
• A friendly & approachable manner
