Job summary

Chemist Warehouse Ireland is seeking a Support Pharmacist to join the team at Chemist Warehouse Cornmarket. This role welcomes newly qualified pharmacists who want to begin their career in community pharmacy, develop clinical expertise and gain experience in a supportive environment.

You will work closely with the pharmacy team to ensure safe dispensing, provide medicines advice, and contribute to professional services and patient care.

Qualifications

• Registration with the Pharmaceutical Society of Ireland (PSI), or eligibility to register.
• Newly qualified pharmacists are encouraged to apply.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• A patient-focused approach and commitment to professional standards.
• Good organisational skills and the ability to work effectively in a busy pharmacy environment.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the safe, accurate and legally compliant dispensing of prescriptions.
• Provide professional advice on medicines, healthcare and pharmacy services.
• Deliver excellent patient care and customer service.
• Support the delivery of professional pharmacy services and healthcare initiatives.
• Assist with stock management and pharmacy claims processes.
• Maintain effective communication with patients, healthcare professionals and colleagues.
• Contribute to the training and development of pharmacy students and junior team members, where required.
