Job summary

Apple is seeking a proactive Enterprise Network Operations professional to join a global, multi-vendor infrastructure team in Ireland. You will provide frontline support, manage incidents 24x7, and collaborate with internal and external partners to keep our network running seamlessly.

You will work in a dynamic environment, maintain documentation, and contribute to operational excellence while learning new technologies across Cisco/Arista/Fortinet ecosystems.

Qualifications

• Experience with IPv4/IPv6, BGP, and large-scale LAN/WAN networking.
• Experience with Cisco, Arista, Palo Alto and Fortinet portfolios.
• Coordinate and troubleshoot effectively with internal and external partner teams.
• Familiarity with network automation and AI technologies.

In this fast paced role, you will provide front line support for Apple’s network to address a wide variety of business challenges. You will be comfortable in a dynamic environment with the ability to multi-task and provide operational support to various businesses within Apple. This position requires a collaborative teammate who will enjoy working in multi-functional groups and who has the ability and willingness to work with others around the globe. You will need to be a life-long learner, as we have such a diverse network that the opportunities to acquire new knowledge and experience are endless. We operate a 24x7x365 day follow the sun support model. Flexibility to work in a day-time shift pattern is required

Minimum Qualifications

• Working experience with IPv4, IPv6, BGP, layer 2 technologies, and large-scale LAN/WAN networking
• Experience with Cisco, Arista, Palo Alto, and Fortinet product portfolios
• Ability to coordinate and troubleshoot effectively with internal and external partner teams
• Familiarity with network automation and AI technologies

Preferred Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent experience in a relevant IT discipline
• Juniper JNCIA, Cisco CCNA, Certified Wireless Network Administrator (CWNA) or equivalent experience.
