Job summary

Astreya Inc. in Dublin, Ireland is seeking a Network Automation Engineer II to join our global automation program. The role covers Dublin, Fremont, and Denver, focusing on building scalable workflow automation and data pipelines for partner data management.

You will design automated workflows for onboarding, data lifecycle, and alerting, while developing ETL pipelines to synchronize data across systems. The candidate should have 3+ years in automation/DevOps, strong Python, and API experience,

Qualifications

  • 3+ years experience in automation engineering, data engineering, or DevOps.
  • Strong proficiency in Python (scripting, API integrations, data manipulation).
  • Experience building and consuming APIs (REST and/or GraphQL).
  • Familiarity with SQL and data pipeline/ETL concepts.

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement automated workflows for partner onboarding, contact updates, service renewals, and data lifecycle management.
  • Create self-service tools that allow operations teams to perform bulk data operations without engineering support.
  • Build automated alerting for stale data, missing information, or expiring service agreements.
  • Build ETL pipelines that synchronize partner data across internal systems.
  • Automate migration of legacy data from spreadsheets, wikis, and siloed databases into the centralized platform.
  • Develop reconciliation scripts to detect discrepancies between systems and maintain data integrity.
  • Build tools that auto-retrieve relevant partner contacts during network incidents.
  • Create automated escalation and outreach workflows triggered by network events.
  • Develop runbook automation to standardize and speed up repetitive operational tasks.
  • Build dashboards tracking data quality, freshness, and platform adoption.
  • Implement automated health checks and audit scripts to detect duplicates or incomplete entries.
