Job summary

Ryanair Labs, the technology brand of Ryanair, is recruiting a .NET Developer to join Europe’s Largest Airline Group. You will work with a distributed engineering team across Dublin, Wroclaw, Lisbon and Madrid to build and support enterprise applications, websites and interfaces across channels.

The role focuses on design, development and delivery of high-quality .NET solutions, cloud microservices on AWS, containerised with Docker/Kubernetes, and robust testing and CI/CD to ensure a reliable

Qualifications

• 6+ years of solid experience with .NET web application development.
• Experience delivering cloud microservices, preferably AWS.
• Proficient with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Knowledge of relational and NoSQL databases.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing.

Ryanair Labs is the technology brand of Ryanair. Labs is a state of-the-art digital & IT innovation hub creating Europe's Leading Travel Experience for our customers.

We are looking for talented C# developers to join our engineering team, a team of engineers distributed among Wroclaw, Lisbon, Madrid and Dublin. In this role, you will work closely with our technology and product teams to develop, modify and support our enterprise applications, website and user interfaces across all channels.

Duties

• Design, develop and maintain high-quality, testable and high-performing .NET applications using Agile development practices.
• Champion engineering excellence and promote software development best practices across the team.
• Collaborate with analysts, product owners and business stakeholders to define, refine, estimate and plan new requirements.
• Demonstrate completed work through regular showcases to product owners and key business stakeholders.
• Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to enhance our processes, tools and technical solutions.
• Maintain and enhance our online payment platform, including integrations with multiple payment providers.
• Evaluate and implement new payment methods while improving the reliability, security and overall customer payment experience.

Requirements

• 6+ years of solid experience with .NET web application development and related application frameworks
• Proven track record of cloud microservices delivery, preferably using AWS services (ECS, EKS, SNS, SQS, Lambdas)
• Knowledge of relational and NoSQL databases design and usage
• Practical application of Docker/Kubernetes
• Knowledge of software release management techniques including CI/CD pipelines management
• Hands on experience with unit and automated testing
• Ability to write end-to-end solutions for web-based applications, create robust high-volume production applications and develop prototypes quickly
