Job summary

Focus Ireland is seeking the Head of National Community Fundraising and Engagement, a key leadership role within its fundraising department. You will lead a national team to grow over €1.5m of fundraised income and strengthen Focus Ireland’s brand and community connections across Ireland.

You will drive strategy, donor recruitment and engagement, oversee budgets and reports, and work with volunteers, partners and internal teams to deliver impactful campaigns while travelling across the country,

Qualifications

• At least five years of experience in fundraising, marketing or community engagement.
• Experience leading a large, geographically dispersed team.
• Proven ability to manage a significant income portfolio and budgets.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide visible senior leadership within the Fundraising and Marketing Department, guiding planning and culture.
• Lead, motivate and develop a nationwide team with clear objectives and coaching.
• Ensure governance, policy compliance, data protection, and safeguarding in community fundraising.
