Job summary

A maintenance company in Ireland is seeking a skilled Motor Technician to join their depot maintenance team permanently. The ideal candidate will have over 4 years of experience, strong knowledge of commercial vehicle systems, and the ability to work flexibly. Responsibilities include major mechanical work and communication with team members. A valid driving license is required, and exceptional interpersonal skills are expected.

Qualifications

Job Description

We are currently seeking a skilled and dependable motor technician to join our depot maintenance team on a permanent basis in Enniscorthy, Co. Wexford.

Requirements: Minimum of 4 years’ experience in a similar mechanical or maintenance role. National Craft Certificate in Heavy Vehicle Mechanics (SOLAS) or equivalent qualification (FETAC Level 6) preferred. Strong knowledge of commercial vehicle systems, including hydraulics, pneumatics, and diagnostics. A full Category B license is essential; a Category C/CE license is desirable. Must be flexible and willing to work on-call or outside normal hours when required. Reliable, self-motivated, and capable of working independently. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Must be eligible to work in Ireland.
