Job summary

KDM Hire (Ireland) is seeking a skilled Mobile Powered Access Engineer to service and repair our fleet of scissor lifts and powered access equipment. The role combines workshop-based work with on-site servicing for customers, ensuring fault diagnosis, safety, and reliability.

You will diagnose electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical faults, perform inspections, and maintain meticulous service records. A valid driving licence and strong attention to detail are essential to join our dynamic team in

Qualifications

Previous experience in the repair of powered access equipment.
Good all-round mechanical skills.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail.
Knowledge of electrics, electronics and hydraulics.

Responsibilities

Attend customer sites to carry out servicing, maintenance, inspections and repairs on powered access equipment as required.
Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues in the equipment.
Provide technical support to customers where required, offering guidance on optimal equipment usage and addressing inquiries promptly.
Uphold the highest standards of safety and maintenance in all tasks and operations.
Maintain accurate and detailed records of all maintenance activities, repairs, and service history.
