Job summary

Pirtek Deutschland GmbH is seeking a Mobile Hydraulic Field Service Technician in Waterford to service hydraulic hoses on site and in surrounding areas. The role involves fault finding, repairs and maintenance with a focus on downtime minimisation.

You will need a full driving licence, be self-motivated, able to work as part of a team and willing to undertake after-hours call-outs on a 24-hour roster, including weekends and bank holidays. Training will be provided for the right candidate.

Qualifications

• Experience in mechanical/engineering environments is advantageous.
• Full driving licence is required.
• Willingness to undertake after-hours call outs and weekend/bank holiday work.

Responsibilities

• Service on-site hydraulic hose repairs in the service centre and surrounding areas.

We are seeking an outgoing and competitive Mobile Hydraulic Field Service Technician, servicing on site hydraulic hoses repairs in our service centre and surrounding areas.

Pirtek are a nationwide network of hydraulic hose professionals, helping to keep businesses from every sector moving, minimising operational downtime throughout the Ireland and the UK.

We are looking for a self motivated person who can work well as part of a team. We would prefer experience in a mechanical plant or engineering background and will offer training for the right person. There will be an after hours call out roster which is on a 24 hour basis which you will be expected to undertake and includes weekends and bank holidays all year round. You will need to hold a full licence and be willing to complete an online driving licence check.

• Ideal person to have plant or motor trade background or experience with hydraulics
• Work experience in a technical/engineering environment advantageous but not essential
