Acorn Vets in Mallow, Co Cork, is seeking a Mixed Veterinary Surgeon to join our established team. This genuine mixed practice role combines companion animal medicine and surgery with hands-on farm animal work, offering a varied caseload and professional fulfilment.

You’ll support the local farming community, manage consultations, emergencies, herd visits, and a range of surgical procedures, with opportunities to develop a broad skill set and progress within the IVC Evidensia network.

Responsibilities

• Manage consultations, medical workups, and surgery for mixed caseload.
• Include herd and farm visits, routine and emergency care, and a variety of surgical procedures.
• Develop a broad mix of companion animal and farm animal skills with autonomy and team support.
