Job summary

Fortis Recruitment is sourcing a Middle Office Associate for a Dublin-based, global multi-strategy investment manager. The role sits inside the engine room of portfolio accounting, operations and direct investment exposure.

You will own portfolio accounting, supervise trade lifecycle events, and manage asset servicing while collaborating with investment and trading teams to resolve issues and drive improvements. EM EA desk automation initiatives are also part of the remit.

Qualifications

• 5-8 years in investment management, fund admin or banking middle office.
• Exposure to equities, bonds, structured products, credit, OTC derivatives or corporate actions.
• Precise, intellectually curious; capable of pace alongside senior stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Own portfolio accounting and operational processes across multiple asset classes.
• Oversee trade lifecycle events - trade capture, settlements, financing activity, reconciliations.
• Manage asset servicing including corporate actions, coupon and dividend payments.
• Work directly with investment and trading teams to resolve operational issues and drive improvements.
• Contribute to automation and AI-driven efficiency initiatives across the EMEA desk.

• Own portfolio accounting and operational processes across multiple, complex asset classes
• Oversee trade lifecycle events - trade capture, settlements, financing activity, recs and lifecycle processing
• Manage asset servicing including corporate actions, coupon and dividend payments etc
• Work directly alongside investment and trading teams - resolving operational issues, owning outcomes and contributing to process improvement
• Contribute to automation and AI-driven efficiency initiatives across the EMEA desk

CANDIDATE PROFILE
