Job summary

Abbott Ireland Vascular Division Clonmel is seeking a Process/Quality Engineer to provide manufacturing quality support and help ensure the delivery of the highest quality products. The role involves defect analysis, CAPA, and collaboration with development teams to uphold quality standards.

You will work within a regulated quality environment, mentoring junior staff and coordinating cross-functional activities to drive improvements and risk analyses across programs.

Qualifications

• NFQ Level 7 qualification (or equivalent).
• 2+ years relevant experience in quality/engineering.
• Working knowledge of quality systems, processes and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Identify manufacturing process defects and perform root cause analysis.
• Support development of product quality plans, specifications, risk analyses, and FMEA.
• Use process monitoring to identify critical steps and reduce variation.
• Assist in product/process improvement using quality metrics and analysis.
• Participate in validation activities (protocol/report writing, execution).
• Support CAPA and Field Discrepancy Notification investigations.
