Job summary

Russell Tobin is seeking an experienced MES Engineer to support manufacturing execution systems in a biotech/pharmaceutical environment in Ireland. The role emphasizes recipe authoring, system validation, and design documentation to meet high product quality and lean manufacturing goals.

Candidates should hold a Bachelor's or Master's in engineering or life sciences and have at least 3 years of MES experience, with knowledge of Visual Basic and SQL Server.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science or Life Sciences.
• At least 3 years’ experience as an MES Engineer.
• Experience with MES Design, Configuration and business processes in biotech/pharma.
• Experience in process controls and information systems in manufacturing biotech/pharma (desired).
• Knowledge of Visual Basic and Microsoft SQL Server.

Responsibilities

• Perform MES recipe authoring to meet facility quality and lean goals.
• Participate in testing and computer system validation of MES Recipes and configurations.
• Create MES deliverables such as design documents and validation activities.
• MES system administration for third-party interfaces (SAP/LIMS/DeltaV).
• MES System Syncade build including Equipment, Material management, Reports, Inventory management.

Job description

• Performing MES recipe authoring activities to ensure appropriate MES content and changes to meet the facility goals of High Product Quality and Lean Manufacturing.
• Participating in the testing and computer system validation of the MES Recipes and related configuration.
• Actively participating in the creation of MES deliverables such as design documents and validation activities.
• MES System administration to third party interfaces e.g., SAP/LIMS/DeltaV
• MES System Syncade build Equipment, Material management, Reports, Inventory Management
• A Bachelors or Master’s Degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science or the Life Sciences
• At least 3 years’ experience as an MES Engineer
• Experience with MES System Design, Configuration and Application of business processes in the biotechnology or pharmaceutical industry
• Experience in process controls and/or information systems within manufacturing organisations in the Biotechnology or Pharmaceutical industries (desired)
• Knowledge of Visual basic and Microsoft SQL Server desired.
