Purpose of the Role:

The purpose of this post is to support the delivery of a quality laboratory service in compliance with the requirements of international standard ISO 15189 in the Biochemistry laboratory

Purpose of the Role:

The purpose of this post is to support the delivery of a quality laboratory service in compliance with the requirements of international standard ISO 15189 in the Biochemistry laboratory The post holder is required to perform a broad range of scientific work in the laboratory under the supervision of senior colleagues. She/he will carry out routine analyses, participate in implementing new methods and will actively participate in the laboratory quality management system.

Essential Criteria:

• CORU registration
• Experience in Biochemistry hospital laboratory

Desirable Criteria:

• Experience in laboratory information systems
• Experience in the use of Q-Pulse.
• Hospital laboratory experience
• Familiar with ISO standards
