Job summary

Cook Medical is seeking a Quality Control Inspector in Limerick to inspect raw materials, finished devices, packaging, and sterilised products ensuring QC standards are met before shipping. The role requires thorough GMP adherence, accurate documentation, and collaboration within the QC team to achieve KPI targets.

The candidate should have good communication, be able to travel for company business, and work well in a team within a controlled manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in medical devices is advantageous.
• Good communication and inter-personal skills.
• Ability to work as part of a team.
• Some flexibility as regards working hours/days.
• Willingness and availability to travel on company business.

Responsibilities

• Inspect raw materials (IQC) to ensure quality before use.
• Inspect finished devices (FQC) before shipment.
• Inspect packaged devices (PKQC) and sterilised devices (PSQC) for QC compliance.
• Review device history records (Batch Release) for compliance before stock release.
• Ensure GMP practices, gowning, CMA rules, line clearance procedures, and accurate paperwork.
• Highlight potential issues to Team Leaders and contribute to QC KPI targets.
