Role Responsibilities

• Assemble, install, and maintain mechanical systems, including HVAC, cooling, and piping, in modular data centre environments.
• Read and interpret technical blueprints, design models, and project specifications.
• Inspect and assess the functionality of mechanical equipment and systems.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical faults or problems, replacing damaged parts as required.
• Carry out routine and preventive maintenance on all mechanical systems.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant safety standards, codes, and regulations.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed, including maintenance logs and inspection reports.
• Collaborate with other teams to ensure integrated system performance.
• Support commissioning and testing of mechanical systems prior to handover.
• Adhere to project schedules and report progress or issues to the site supervisor or project manager.

Qualifications and Skills

• Mechanical trade background.
• Experience in industrial/mechanical installations.
• Skilled with hand and power tools.
• Ability to read drawings and follow directions
• Ability to perform work accurately and thoroughly.
• High attention to detail and self-motivated.
