About the Role:

As a Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for the installation, setup, maintenance, and optimization of automated equipment. Your role will be crucial in ensuring the smooth operation of the production line and contributing to the success of this high-impact project. This is a HANDS-ON role where you will be working on fixing and maintaining the automation and line equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Troubleshoot and repair high-speed automated assembly machines.
  • Perform scheduled preventative maintenance to minimise downtime.
  • Assist in the installation, setup, and refurbishment of equipment.
  • Maintain accurate maintenance documentation and records.
  • Communicate potential issues affecting capacity and quality to the team leader.
  • Support Process Engineers with continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Contribute to efficiency projects through code upgrades and system improvements.
  • Ensure performance targets and production deadlines are consistently met.
Requirements
  • Minimum level 8 qualification in a mechanical engineering discipline with relevant industry experience will be suitable.
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience as a Mechanical Engineer/ technician in a high-volume, semi-fully automated manufacturing environment.
  • You must be fluent in English.
