A sustainability-focused engineering company in Ireland seeks a Mechanical Design Engineer to develop product documentation using SolidWorks and AutoCAD. The role involves managing Bills of Materials (BOMs) and ensuring compliance with quality standards. Ideal candidates have a degree in engineering, hands-on experience, and strong teamwork skills. Join a dynamic team committed to environmental sustainability.
Formed in 2020, The Revive Group supports our partners to achieve maximum environmental sustainability through the provision of best-in‑class environmental service equipment for their underground infrastructure maintenance and servicing operations.
Uniquely, Revive does this through a whole‑of‑life approach that delivers a significantly lower lifetime carbon footprint for the asset; benefiting the operator at the bottom line and benefiting the environment where it counts, through lower carbon emissions.
We are looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and detailing product documentation and drawings of components and assemblies to support BOM creation and management, as well as fabrication and production line activities.
You will use SolidWorks and AutoCAD to produce accurate 3D models and 2D drawings that meet our internal standards and quality requirements. Experience with fabrication processes, dimensional and geometrical tolerances, sheet metal design tools, and the creation of flat patterns is highly valued.
Your work scope will also include preparing technical documentation and Bills of Materials (BOMs) to support production and procurement activities. As e.g. creating BOM part lists, managing data within our inventory system and engineering files, controlling design modifications, and writing manuals and SOPs.
To succeed in this role, you should have strong technical understanding, great attention to detail, and a structured approach to organizing and prioritizing tasks. Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary and multicultural team are essential.
Although this position requires a solid technical and theoretical background, we are looking for a candidate with at least two years of hands‑on experience in mechanical design, fabrication, or production environments. The ideal candidate combines strong engineering knowledge with practical experience in translating designs into manufacturable solutions.
We value individuals who are proactive, detail‑oriented, and capable of working independently while collaborating effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
We are committed to diversity and inclusion and welcome applicants of all nationalities. If you are a passionate Mechanical Design Engineer who desires to work with a dynamic team and contribute to the company's growth, we encourage you to apply.
