Job summary

Kilkenny and Carlow Education and Training Board - Training Services is seeking a teacher for a 22-hour-per-week maternity leave post at Coláiste Mhuire. The role focuses on Maths teaching and Maths learning support, with duties spanning planning, delivery and assessment in line with the walks of the school year.

The ideal candidate will hold appropriate teaching qualifications and be registered with the Teaching Council of Ireland, with experience in supporting a diverse range of learners.

Qualifications

• Postgraduate qualification in Special Education Needs/Learning Support is advantageous.
• Applicants must meet Teaching Council requirements for the advertised subject(s).
• Final year students may apply subject to registration requirements.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality teaching and learning in line with school policies.
• Plan and prepare lessons, schemes of work and department plans.
• Communicate effectively with students, parents and colleagues and uphold inclusive practices.
• Contribute to school planning and developmental activities.
