Job summary

BioMarin is seeking a Marketing Operations Manager for the EUCAN Enzyme Therapies portfolio in Dublin. The role is hybrid, requiring 2 days onsite per week. The closing date is 22 July 2026.

The role coordinates core marketing operations, supports aRMM processes, and ensures governance, approval and audit-readiness across agencies and cross-functional partners. You will manage Veeva Events, sponsorships, and document uploads to Ariba and DocuSign.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years in pharma or biotech marketing.
  • Experience in global multinational environment.
  • Strong knowledge of marketing operations, timelines and budgets.

Marketing Operations Manager (BU Enzyme Therapies)

Dublin – Hybrid, 2 days per week onsite

Summary

The Marketing Operations Manager is responsible for coordinating and managing core marketing operations activities across the EUCAN Enzyme Therapies portfolio, owning day‑to‑day execution and tracking of key processes including Veeva Events, agency guidance, documentation, agreement administration, and compliance follow‑up. The role supports the aRMM process for all relevant ET marketing brands globally and works closely with the Marketing Operations Associate Director, the EUCAN BU Marketing Lead, agencies, and cross‑functional stakeholders to ensure marketing materials, events, agreements, and supporting documentation are delivered accurately, efficiently, and in accordance with internal governance, approval, and audit‑readiness requirements.

Responsibilities
  • Provide operational support for the aRMM process, coordinating, tracking, and executing as required.
  • Develop and deliver clear guidance and training materials for external agencies and cross‑functional partners to promote consistent adoption of the Veeva Events process.
  • Manage Veeva Events requests across all ET marketing brands from submission through to close‑out, partnering with agencies and internal stakeholders for timely, compliant, high‑quality execution.
  • Manage sponsorship agreements and purchase orders across all brands.
  • Upload Participant Service Agreements and Delegate Invitation Letters to DocuSign, ensuring documents are issued, tracked, and completed appropriately.
  • Manage bulk Ariba uploads for agreements to support accurate, efficient, and auditable administration.
  • Partner with agencies to upload required event documentation to Veeva Events and the PwC portal quarterly, maintaining audit‑readiness and compliance.
  • Provide project support to the team as needed to ensure smooth delivery of priority activities.
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
  • Minimum of 5 years in pharma or biotech marketing.
  • Proven track record in a global multinational environment.
  • Marketing Operations – strong ability to coordinate projects, timelines, deliverables, budgets and cross‑functional activities across multiple priorities.
  • Systems & Process Management – working knowledge of SAP Ariba, Veeva PromoMats and Veeva Events with a focus on workflow improvement.
  • Compliance & Governance – understanding of regulatory, legal, internal approval and audit‑readiness requirements.
  • Stakeholder Management – effective communication and collaboration with affiliates, agencies, vendors, and global or regional teams.
  • Planning & Problem Solving – proactive, organised, and adaptable with strong attention to detail and capacity to balance competing priorities.
Required/Preferred Education and Licenses
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent.
  • Marketing education an advantage.
