Marketing and Graphic Design Executive

Emerald Park, Ireland's leading tourist attractions, is looking for an experienced Marketing and Graphic Design Executive to work within our marketing team.

As the Marketing and Graphic Design Executive you will be responsible for designing, planning, and delivering all aspects of signage and marketing materials for Emerald Park. This role includes the implementation of marketing strategy and overseeing the development of design assets for all departments.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver a range of design collateral – signage (large and small format), website assets, social media graphics, advertising, logo creation, ad‑hoc packaging, brochure design, flyers and posters.
  • Project Management – lead design projects from concept through completion, including design creation, supplier meetings, order processing and installation management, while adhering to budget and project requirements.
  • Communication & Content Creation – build content for our social media and website, ensuring it is refreshed, up‑to‑date, inspiring and captivating our audience.
  • Collaboration – collaborate with cross‑departmental teams to deliver design collateral.
  • Creativity – bring new and creative ideas to the team.
  • Marketing & Design Strategies – contribute to wider marketing and business goals through campaigns, digital communication and design.
  • Graphic Management – ensure consistency and development of brand assets, tone of voice, photography, video and general communications.
  • Presentation Skills – present your work to internal teams and manage workloads within agreed timings.
  • Digital Signage – manage the digital signage system and develop content and assets.
  • PR Activity & Planning – participate in PR activity and calendar of events for the year, delivering ad‑hoc design such as e‑vites, media mailers and press‑release content.
  • Photography / Video Inventory – be responsible for the delivery of photography and video‑based content.
  • Ad‑hoc duties and general marketing tasks as required.
Candidate Requirements
  • Minimum 3–5 years of Graphic Design experience.
  • Third‑level qualification in Graphic Design or a similar design qualification.
  • A strong portfolio demonstrating a wide range of visual design skills and applications.
  • Proficiency in the Adobe Creative Cloud, Illustrator and Photoshop.
  • Firm knowledge of the print industry and printing procedures.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to work with audiences of differing ages and backgrounds.
  • Photography or videography background is a distinct advantage.
  • A strong team player who enjoys working in a fast‑paced collaborative environment.
  • Enjoys creative development, constructive feedback and problem‑solving whilst working to a brief and strong set of brand guidelines.
  • Highly organised, able to work on own initiative and meet deadlines.
  • Previous marketing experience within a tourist attraction is desirable but not essential.

Reports to: Marketing Manager

Hours: Full time, Monday to Friday, 9 am–5 pm
