Moog Inc. in Carrigaline, Ireland, is seeking an Manufacturing Engineering Technician to support SMT, PTH and systems assembly equipment.

You will sustain day-to-day maintenance, monitor yield, and ensure safe, high-uptime operation while collaborating with Manufacturing, Product and Design Engineers on new product introductions. The role emphasizes lean thinking, problem solving, and training of technicians, with potential weekend shifts and three 12-hour days.

Competenze

• Greater than 2 years in a certified Electronics Manufacturing environment.
• Qualified trades personnel will also be considered.
• Level 6 qualification in Electronics or related field.

Mansioni

• Sustain day-to-day support and maintenance of SMT, PTH, and systems assembly equipment.
• Monitor yield and resolve quality issues as required.
• Maintain safe working order and maximise machine uptime across SMT, PTH, and related equipment.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing, Product and Design Engineers on NPI, ordering stencils/jigs/fixtures and creating equipment programs.
• Program and debug computer controlled equipment.
• Select, order and maintain machine spares for equipment needs.
• Provide training to other technicians and operators as required.
• Travel to support new equipment selection and support to other Moog sites.
