Job summary

Freudenberg Group in Ireland seeks a Process Assembly professional to lead problem solving and ensure processes meet work instructions. You will mentor technicians, support lean manufacturing initiatives, and assist in cell layout development and production planning to drive continuous improvement.

The role involves collaboration with R&D/NPI during development and participation in validation programs to ensure manufacturing readiness and process ownership after transfer from NPI.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Polymer, Science, Biomedical or Mechanical Engineering, or 5+ years’ experience in a Process Assembly Technician role in a medical device environment
• Relevant experience should include cleanroom manufacture, validations, process controls, process improvements and lean manufacturing

Responsibilities

• Lead problem-solving and troubleshooting activities related to non-conforming materials, customer complaints, and incapable processes.
• Ensure all processes are set up and monitored in accordance with approved work instructions.
• Provide mentoring and support to Technicians and Operators to drive continuous improvement and operational excellence.
• Support development of cell layouts, material flow, handling systems, and production plans for lean manufacturing.
