ICON Clinical Research Ltd in Dublin is seeking a Manager, Financial Business Partnering to oversee financial operations, budgeting, and reporting for clinical projects. You will lead day-to-day finance activities and support your team to deliver high-quality outcomes.

The role requires a qualified accountant with ACA/ACCA/CIMA; CPA or CMA is a plus. You will drive financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting while collaborating with cross-functional teams to inform project strategies.

What You Will Do

As a Manager, Financial Business Partnering at ICON, you will oversee financial operations, budgeting, and reporting for our clinical research projects.

You will manage day-to-day finance and financial management activities, supporting your team to deliver quality outcomes.

Key responsibilities include:

• Managing the preparation and analysis of financial reports, budgets, and forecasts for clinical projects.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights that inform decision-making and project strategies.
• Ensuring compliance with financial policies, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Overseeing accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring timely and accurate financial transactions.
• Identifying opportunities for process improvements and implementing best practices in financial management.

Your Profile

You will have solid finance and financial management experience, with the ability to manage competing priorities and develop your team.

Required qualifications and experience: Qualified Accountant - ACA/ACCA/CIMA Degree in finance, accounting, or a related field; CPA or CMA is a plus. Significant experience in finance management, preferably within the healthcare or clinical research sectors. Strong knowledge of financial analysis, budgeting, and accounting principles. Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and present it clearly. Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with a collaborative approach to working with diverse teams.

Desirable experience: Understanding in US government accounting. Good knowledge of fringe benefit calculations. Understanding in Intercompany invoice issues handling Balance sheet reconciliation and clearance Preparing and posting Month end journals .
