Job summary

Interpath in Ireland is expanding its national coverage as part of our Deal Advisory platform, a fast-growing, entrepreneurial team working closely with senior leaders on diverse engagements.

You will lead advisory mandates across Financial Services and non-FS sectors, analyse performance and cash flows, develop strategic options, and deliver high-quality client deliverables while travelling to client sites across Ireland.

Qualifications

• Strong academic background and proven analytical capabilities.
• Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills with ability to build and present financial models.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Support the origination and execution of advisory mandates across FS and non-FS sectors.
• Analyse financial performance, business plans, and cash flow forecasts to assess viability.
• Conduct market assessments, financial modelling, and scenario analysis for client decisions.
• Assist in developing strategic options including refinancing and business planning.
• Prepare high-quality client deliverables, including reports and presentations.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships through delivery and effective communication.
• Collaborate with Transaction Services, Capital Advisory, and Debt Advisory to deliver integrated solutions.
• Stay up to date with market trends, regulatory developments, and sector insights.

As part of Interpath's continued growth in Ireland, we are beginning the expansion of our national coverage, which forms part of our broader Deal Advisory platform, including Transaction Services, Strategic Financial Advisory, and Capital Advisory. This is a unique opportunity to join a newly established, fast-growing and entrepreneurial team, working closely with experienced senior leaders across a broad range of engagements.

You will contribute to our mission of delivering best-in-class advisory services to clients across Ireland, leveraging Interpath's global insights to achieve outstanding client outcomes. This role offers the opportunity to lead advisory mandates across Financial Services and non-Financial Services sectors, working closely with senior leaders and cross-functional teams.

Working closely with senior stakeholders, this role involves collaborating with colleagues across the business on a broad range of deal-related and strategic engagements.

This role supports remote working from any location in Ireland; however, candidates must be adaptable and willing to travel to client sites and Interpath offices to help deliver client outcomes.

The Role

• Support the origination and execution of advisory mandates across both FS and non-FS sectors, helping clients navigate complex strategic and financial challenges
• Analyse financial performance, business plans, and cash flow forecasts to assess company viability
• Conduct market assessments, financial modelling, and scenario analysis to support client decision-making
• Assist in the development of strategic options, including refinancing, business planning, performance improvement, and transaction-related activities
• Prepare high-quality client deliverables, including reports, presentations, and financial analysis
• Manage multiple workstreams and contribute to the timely delivery of projectsBuild and maintain strong client relationships through high-quality delivery and effective communication
• Collaborate with colleagues across Transaction Services, Capital Advisory, and Debt Advisory to deliver integrated client solutions
• Stay up to date with market trends, regulatory developments, and sector-specific insights

Requirements

We welcome applications from candidates with experience across a range of advisory disciplines, including Corporate Finance, Capital Advisory, and broader Financial Advisory.

• Strong academic background, with relevant experience gained within a Big 4 firm, advisory boutique, investment bank, corporate bank, or similar environment
• Experience in financial analysis, business planning, and financial modelling
• Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills, with the ability to build, interpret, and present financial models effectively
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver high-quality work under tight deadlines
• Strong attention to detail and a highly analytical mindset
• A collaborative approach, with the ability to work effectively within team environments
