We are currently seeking a Manager, Commercial Finance to join our diverse and dynamic team at ICON. You will play a critical role in driving commercial performance across our organisation by supporting strategic financial negotiations and supporting enterprise‑level commercial decision‑making. You'll work closely with cross‑functional teams to manage key client relationships and optimize the financial framework for our services.

This is a highly visible role that blends financial expertise with commercial acumen making it ideal for someone who thrives in a fast‑paced, client‑facing environment.

What You Will Be Doing:

• Supporting commercial negotiations with strategic alliance clients to tailor enterprise‑level agreements that meet their specific needs.
• Providing high-quality, timely support to the Proposals team to ensure proposals are commercially sound and aligned with company objectives.
• Collaborating with Finance Business Partnering teams to support the achievement of annual budgets across divisions.
• Partnering closely with Legal, Business Development, and operational leadership teams on deal structures and client agreements.
• Managing the integrity and accuracy of pricing tools and financial models to support decision-making.
• Utilizing financial and operational data to provide insights that improve pricing, profitability, and performance.
• Managing and developing a small team.

Your Profile:

• Professional qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
• 2-4 years of post qualification experience.
• CRO or pharmaceutical industry experience preferred, with exposure to pricing, procurement, and revenue proposal processes considered advantageous.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders across all levels.
• Excellent attention to detail, with a commitment to accuracy and quality in all deliverables.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and familiarity with financial modelling tools.
• Ability to manage competing priorities and switch between strategic and tactical thinking.
• Experience navigating complex, multi‑stakeholder environments including Executive leadership.
