Job summary

Collins McNicholas Group is seeking a qualified Maintenance Technician to join a busy manufacturing environment. You will support maintenance, troubleshooting and performance of production machinery, aiming to minimise downtime and improve reliability.

The role focuses on maintaining equipment, improving efficiency, and ensuring health and safety compliance within the site operations.

Qualifications

Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot equipment faults and improve line efficiency.
Proven problem-solving skills in a manufacturing setting.
Strong knowledge of mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic and electrical systems.
Experience with preventative and reactive maintenance.
Willingness to travel internationally for technical support.

Responsibilities

Carry out preventative and reactive maintenance on production machinery and auxiliary equipment.
Troubleshoot mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic and electrical faults.
Diagnose and resolve equipment and process issues to minimise downtime.
Adjust machine and process settings to maintain product quality.
Support the introduction, testing and validation of new tooling.
Maintain equipment and associated air, water and material supply systems.
Work closely with Production and Engineering teams on continuous improvement initiatives.
Support preventative maintenance programmes and equipment reliability improvements.
Ensure compliance with Health & Safety and quality standards.
