Job Description: Maintenance Technician

We are seeking a skilled, proactive Maintenance/Facility Technician to ensure the smooth, reliable operation of machinery, equipment, and facility systems in a dynamic manufacturing environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing preventive maintenance, responding to breakdowns, and implementing repairs that minimize downtime and support efficient production operations. This hands‑on role is ideal for someone who enjoys problem‑solving, continuous improvement, and contributing to a safe and high‑performing workplace.

Job Responsibilities
  • Perform maintenance, repair, and rebuild tasks on manufacturing equipment and facility systems.
  • Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure optimal performance.
  • Respond promptly to equipment failures to minimize downtime and production interruptions.
  • Identify and replace worn or faulty parts as part of routine maintenance.
  • Maintain accurate service logs and maintenance records using an asset management system.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment reliability and efficiency.
  • Manage and organize tools, spare parts, and maintenance inventory.
  • Collaborate with production, engineering, and safety teams to maintain high operational standards.
  • Work on‑site across shift cycles to provide maintenance coverage as required.
  • Participate in training and skill development to stay current with new systems and technologies.
Job Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
  • Minimum of two years’ experience in a maintenance or facilities role within a manufacturing environment.
  • Familiarity with asset management systems (e.g., Maximo) is an advantage, but training will be provided.
  • Flexibility to work in a multi‑shift system as required.
