Job summary

Honey Homes is seeking a skilled, on-site tradesperson to lead hands-on work on multi-day residential projects in Dublin and the Tri-Valley. You’ll bring carpentry, electrical, and plumbing expertise, executing the project scope with high standards and customer-focused service.

You will work Monday through Friday, 8:30am–5:00pm, with no nights or weekends. The role includes a $36/hr wage ($75,000/year), a $1,500 sign-on bonus after training and 30 days onboard, and comprehensive benefits

Qualifications

• 5+ years hands-on carpentry, electrical, and plumbing experience.
• Strong multi-trade generalist capable of handling routine work without specialists.
• Self-sufficient on site and able to follow the project scope.
• Flexibility to move between job types and nearby areas.
• Strong customer skills since you’ll be in members' homes.
• Attention to detail in carpentry joints, finishes, and plumbing.
• Valid driver's license and your own standard tools.
• Legal authorization to work in the US.

Responsibilities

• Execute scoped work on larger residential projects: carpentry, electrical, plumbing, drywall, paint, and cleanup.
• Lead carpentry tasks: dry rot repair, decks, fences, doors, trim, finish work.
• Handle electrical tasks: fixtures, outlets, switches, ceiling fans, small wiring.
• Perform plumbing: toilets, faucets, valves, minor pipe work.
• Oversee painting and drywall: exterior/interior repaints, patching, finishing.
• Follow project lead's scope and flag deviations on site.
• Represent Honey Homes on site with professional conduct and clear communication.
• Work primarily in Dublin and the Tri-Valley, with flexibility for nearby East Bay projects.

Honey Homes is hiring experienced residential remodelers strong in carpentry, electrical, and plumbing to execute larger residential projects in Dublin and the Tri-Valley.

Honey Homes gives homeowners a dedicated handyperson through a simple membership, so the work around their home actually gets done by someone they trust. We're now taking on the bigger jobs our members need: exterior repaints, dry rot repair and carpentry, decks, fences, bathroom refreshes with plumbing and electrical work, and more.

The role

We're growing our larger-project team in Dublin and the Tri-Valley and looking for skilled tradespeople to do the hands-on work on multi-day residential projects. A project lead scopes the job and sets the plan. You bring the carpentry, the electrical, and the plumbing and execute it to a high standard. The work is already sold and scheduled. No bidding, no invoicing, no chasing clients.

What you'll do

• Execute the scoped work on larger residential projects: demo, carpentry, plumbing, electrical, drywall, paint, and cleanup
• Carpentry: dry rot repair, decks, fences, doors, trim, and finish work
• Electrical: fixtures, outlets, switches, ceiling fans, and small wiring tasks
• Plumbing: toilets, faucets, valves, minor pipe repair, and bathroom fixture swaps
• Painting and drywall: exterior and interior repaints, patching, and finishing
• Work from the project lead's scope and flag anything on site that doesn't match the plan
• Be the face of Honey Homes on site: clear communication, respect for the member's home, and a clean, professional job every day
• Work primarily in Dublin and the Tri-Valley, and flex to nearby East Bay projects and job types as the work demands

What we're looking for

• 5+ years of hands-on carpentry, electrical, and plumbing experience
• A true multi-trade generalist. You're strong in carpentry and can handle the electrical and plumbing on a project without calling in a specialist for routine work
• Self-sufficient on site. Once the scope is set you can work through it without hand-holding
• Flexibility. You're comfortable moving between job types and nearby areas week to week and see that as part of the job
• Strong customer skills. You'll be in members' homes for days at a time and they need to trust you
• Attention to detail: clean carpentry joints, tidy electrical, leak-free plumbing, professional finish work
• Valid driver's license, your own reliable truck or work vehicle, and your own standard tools
• Legal authorization to work in the US. This is a full-time W-2 role

You do not need a contractor's, electrical, or plumbing license. Permitted work is handled separately.

Pay, schedule, and benefits

• $36/hr ($75,000/year) plus equity in the business
• $1,500 sign-on bonus, paid after you complete training and remain onboard for 30 days
• Mileage reimbursement for driving between job sites
• Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 5:00pm. No nights, weekends, or on-call
• 12 paid holidays plus 13 PTO/sick days

Physical requirements

• Carry a 50-lb toolbox 40 feet and lift 50 lbs from floor to waist
