Tascom CLG is offering a maintenance position at Scoil Chormaic and Scoil Aonghusa. This is a developmental opportunity with accredited training provided to support your career. Applicants should be prepared for Garda vetting and are expected to be eligible for Community Employment (CE).

The role covers premises upkeep, painting, grounds maintenance, and general facility duties to ensure safe, clean centres for the community. Training will be provided to develop necessary skills.

Qualifications

• No specific experience required; on the job training provided.
• Eligibility to participate on CE is generally linked to age and welfare payments in Ireland.
• Garda vetting required for this role.

Responsibilities

• Take care of/maintain premises, furniture, equipment, fittings and buildings.
• Carry out painting and renovation work in the centre as required.
• Keep centre grounds in good order by maintaining and cutting grass areas and preventing litter.
• Identify shrubs requiring trimming, keep hedges and shrubs safe and ensure they do not pose a hazard.
• Weed flowerbeds and pathways.
• Internal maintenance and cleaning as required.
• Power wash buildings, grounds and equipment as required.
• Steam all floors and furniture.
• Garda vetting required.
