Job summary

Aurivo Dairy Ingredients Ballaghaderreen in Roscommon is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join our maintenance team. You will maintain a wide range of mechanical process equipment, support plant operations and ensure safe, reliable performance through preventative and proactive maintenance.

The role includes monitoring plant services and keeping accurate CMMS records, with a 4-week shift cycle (days, evenings, nights).

Qualifications

• FAS Mechanical Apprenticeship with Junior and Senior trade qualification or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years post-qualification experience in a high-volume process manufacturing environment.
• Experience with electric and pneumatic control systems.
• Strong communication and time-management skills.
• Ability to work proactively in a team and problem-solve.

Responsibilities

• Provide maintenance support for operations as part of the maintenance team.
• Ensure safety, quality and output are prioritised in all duties.
• Perform preventative maintenance and reliability-centred maintenance.
• Work with the maintenance team to maintain a proactive approach to maintenance.
• Maintain accurate maintenance data and CMMS close-out of work orders.
• Tackle day-to-day equipment issues with timely troubleshooting.
• Shift cycle 4 weeks – days, evenings, nights.
