Job summary

A manufacturing company in Co. Longford is seeking a Maintenance Facilities Technician to ensure the efficient operation of equipment and systems. Responsibilities include troubleshooting machinery, preventative maintenance, and maintaining reports. Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot and repair equipment and machinery.
  • Follow the Preventative Maintenance schedule.
  • Maintain maintenance reports and repair records.
  • Manage inventory for tools and reorder when necessary.

New job alert!!! My client in the manufacturing industry based in Co. Longford is looking to expand their team and hire a Maintenance Facilities Technician.

As the Maintenance / Facility Technician, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of equipment, machinery, and facility systems across the facility.

THIS IS A 2 SHIF-CYCLE PERMANENT JOB WITH COMPANY BENEFITS
Key duties & responsibilities:
  • Carry out rebuilds on the machines and infrastructure.
  • Involved in projects focusing on areas such as machinery efficiency and breakdown reduction.
  • Troubleshoot/repair equipment and machinery on the facility of the company.
  • Follow Preventative Maintenance schedule.
  • Keep maintenance reports and make records for all the repair work conducted on the machinery.
  • Carefully maintain inventory for the tools and place orders for new ones when they are required.
What are we looking for?
  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or a Level6/trade qualification
  • Experience carrying out maintenance in a manufacturing environment
  • Knowledge of Maximo – Asset Management system or equivalent would be an advantage.
