CREGG Recruitment are working with our manufacturing client in Sixmilebridge, Clare in hiring a Machine operator in Hurley manufacturing on their Day shift.

Must have Manufacturing – Machine experience.

Shift: Day Shift
Monday – Friday: 8.30am – 4.45pm
Potential Saturdays: 9.00am – 4.45pm

Contract: 6 month contract with view to permanent contract.

We are seeking a highly motivated individual to fill the role of Hurley Machine Operative.

Key Tasks of the role:
  • Working as part of a team to complete monthly orders to company deadlines
  • Detailed material finishing of product to a high standard
  • Utilising specialist CNC machinery to complete various tasks in a safe manner
  • Management of stock as it passes through the production phase of the process
  • Checking product for defects and other imperfections
  • Packaging product for dispatch when necessary
  • Machine Maintenance tasks
  • Experience working within a Lean manufacturing environment
  • Ability to show initiative and problem solve where necessary
Competency Requirements:
  • Good hand – eye coordination
  • Prepared to work as part of a team
  • Full Clean Driving Licence
  • Leaving Certificate required
  • Third Level Qualification preferred but not essential
