DataAnnotation is hiring a Machine Learning Engineer to stress-test how models reason about ML systems, from training through deployment, and to craft practical, well-grounded answers for real-world use.
You will write prompts, review model outputs for subtle errors, and supply correct, practitioner-based solutions when models fall short. This role emphasizes hands-on work, remote-friendly project-based contributions, and clear English communication.
Models are surprisingly bad at reasoning about themselves: training dynamics, evaluation design, data pipelines, and deployment trade-offs. Plausible-sounding ML advice is often subtly wrong. As a Machine Learning Engineer you'll stress-test how models reason about ML systems and write the answers a strong practitioner would give, shaping how the next generation handles your field.
Common backgrounds: ML Engineer, MLOps Engineer, Applied Scientist.
