We are seeking a Machine Learning Engineer to join Danu, part of Workday’s AI Centre of Excellence in Dublin. The role involves building and refining machine learning models and data pipelines for ogham, our de-identification engine, with a focus on expanding its capabilities into a broader anonymization system. You will apply privacy techniques like differential privacy and k-anonymity, evaluate their effectiveness, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure scalable and reliable ML systems. Responsibilities include model optimization, pipeline ownership, and clear technical communication across legal, compliance, and product teams.
The ideal candidate has 5+ years of experience in ML engineering or data science, proficiency in Python and frameworks like PyTorch or TensorFlow, and proven experience with large-scale data pipelines using Spark or similar tools. Familiarity with AWS, privacy engineering, NLP, and responsible AI practices is a plus. This role offers a base salary range of €80,000–€120,000 EUR for EU locations, with flexible work arrangements that require at least 50% in-office time each quarter.
