Job Description

We are recruiting an experienced Landscape and Visual Impact Assessment Specialist / Landscape Planner to join our growing Landscape and Visual team. The successful candidate will conduct Landscape and Visual Impact Assessment (LVIA) for various large‑scale infrastructure developments, including wind and solar energy projects, sustainable transport, residential, greenway, tourism, and urban renewal developments.

The Key Responsibilities Associated With The Role Will Be:
  • Scoping, writing and reviewing Landscape and Visual Impact Assessments for projects at a variety of scales, including Chapters for Environmental Impact Assessments;
  • Mapping, spatial analysis, and production of high‑quality mapping outputs.
  • Carrying out site visits, fieldwork and technical photography to inform LVIAs.
  • Contributing to the strategic direction of LVIA projects within the team by keeping a ‘finger on the pulse’ of industry best practice.
  • Take ownership of projects from inception to completion including fee agreements, invoicing, profitability and delivering on client expectations.
  • Oversee, guide and manage junior team members and sub‑consultants to deliver project requirements.
The Key Requirements Of The Role Include:
  • A third‑level qualification in Landscape Planning, Landscape Architecture, Geography, Environmental Science or related fields that give the candidate the necessary skills to complete the role.
  • A minimum of three years experience conducting Landscape and Visual Impact Assessments (or equivalent) in accordance with recognised best practice guidance and understanding the assessment process required in Ireland.
  • Excellent presentation and report writing skills, with high attention to detail.
  • An innovative, confident and creative approach to the work.
  • A collaborative and flexible approach to the role with an ambition to excel and grow within the team and company.
  • A valid driving license.
