Job summary

Dublin Dental University Hospital (DDUH) is seeking a Locum Specialist Endodontist for a part-time, specified purpose contract. Two days per week (Wednesday and Friday) from October 2026 to September 2031, reporting to the Head of Division of Restorative Dentistry and Periodontology and Prof Hal Duncan, Consultant in Endodontics.

Qualifications

• Hold a dental degree with specialist Endodontist training (FFD or equivalent).
• Postgraduate qualification in Endodontics (ideally 3-year full-time).
• Experience in teaching Endodontics at undergrad/postgrad levels.

Responsibilities

• Assess endodontic referral patients (primary/secondary).
• Provide specialist endodontic services (surgical and non-surgical).
• Perform clinic administration (letters, appointments).
• Supervise NCHD endodontic clinics and provide feedback.
