Job summary

TTM Healthcare Limited invites applications for a Locum Basic Grade Medical Scientist based in Dublin 4. You will work in the Standard Microbiology department, contributing to diagnostic services and patient care. Applicants must be resident in Ireland with approved immigration permissions and be prepared to undergo Garda Vetting. International police clearance may be needed for time abroad.

Qualifications

• Level 8 Honours Degree in Medical Science or Biomedical Science (CORU approved).
• Resident in Ireland and hold one of the listed valid immigration permissions.
• Willing to undergo Garda Vetting as part of recruitment.
• International Police Clearance may be required if previously lived abroad for >6 months after age 16.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine microbiological investigations following established procedures.
• Assist with processing and analysis of clinical specimens.
• Ensure accurate documentation, recording and reporting of results.
• Maintain high standards of quality control, health and safety.
• Collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary laboratory team.
• Adhere to laboratory policies, procedures and professional standards.
