A leading holiday resort company in Ballymahon is seeking a Line Cook / Junior Chef de Partie to join their kitchen team. You will be responsible for preparing and presenting delicious Italian dishes while ensuring high kitchen standards are maintained. This role requires kitchen assistant experience and excellent communication skills. The position offers flexible working hours including weekends and holidays, and comes with various employee benefits, including a bonus scheme and career development opportunities.
Bringing the spirit and taste of Italy to Center Parcs, we will be serving Italian favourites such as a deliciously filling calzone, a tempting pizza or a hearty pasta dish, you can even finish off with a Gelato, Bella Italia is all about family time.
In this role, you will prepare, cook and present menu items to agreed standards. You will assist the Kitchen Managers with the general supervision and coaching of the Kitchen Assistants and deputise for the Kitchen Managers in their absence, maintaining the smooth running of the kitchen.
Working straight shifts, you will be contracted to work 150 hours per 4-week period on a flexible basis. This means that your days and hours of work could vary each week, but you will always receive at least your contracted hours each period.
As our village is open 365 days of the year, your working hours will include public / bank holidays and during Christmas and / or New Year on a rota basis with a premium rate of pay for hours worked on a Sunday.
