Job summary

BALLINLOUGH REFRIGERATION LIMI, Dublin 12, is seeking a skilled motor mechanic to service, maintain and repair light commercial vehicles. You will diagnose mechanical/electrical faults, carry out inspections, and ensure work is completed safely and to a high standard.

Hours are 40 per week with a rate of €21.50 per hour (€44,720 per annum). A full driving licence is required, and ability to work both independently and as part of a workshop team is essential.

Qualifications

• Qualified motor mechanic or equivalent experience is required.
• Experience working as a motor mechanic is required.
• Strong diagnostic and fault-finding abilities.
• Experience with light commercial vehicles is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Carry out servicing, maintenance and mechanical repairs on light commercial vehicles.
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults.
• Carry out vehicle inspections and identify required repairs.
• Complete preventative maintenance and scheduled servicing.
• Ensure work is completed safely and to a high standard.
• Maintain accurate records of work carried out.
• Work as part of the workshop team to ensure vehicles are repaired and returned to service efficiently.
• Comply with all company health and safety procedures.
