The School of Medicine at the University of Galway are looking for suitably qualified and experienced candidate for the post of Lecturer in Preventive Cardiology on a specific purpose contract for leave cover for a 1.0 FTE appointment.

We are seeking to appoint a doctor to this post who will join the Discipline of Clinical Medicine and Population Health. The successful post holder will serve the educational needs of the Masters in Preventive Cardiology and will be expected to contribute to the planning and delivery of teaching, student support and assessment duties. Salary: Lecturer salary scales start at €65,552 to 104,573 (applicable to new entrants effective from January, 2011). This appointment will be made on the Lecturer scale in line with current Government pay policy and in accordance with the terms and conditions of the University’s Remuneration policy.
