The Learning Waves Journalism Graduate Programme is offering 10 graduates the opportunity to work in Ireland’s independent radio sector for five months while completing a specialist industry training programme.
Participants will gain real-world experience in journalism, broadcasting, editorial decision-making, content creation, interviewing, and audio production, while also building confidence in a fast-paced media environment.
Successful applicants will work directly alongside experienced News and Sports Editors, developing practical newsroom skills while contributing to live radio output.
As part of the programme, graduates will complete a bespoke training course developed by Learning Waves Skillnet to support their professional growth and prepare them for long-term careers within the radio industry.
The initiative aims to support emerging journalism talent while strengthening the future of independent radio broadcasting in Ireland.
