NTT DATA Ireland is seeking a Lead Snowflake Architect to join its Data Practice in Dublin. You will lead Snowflake-focused architecture, guiding data platforms, KG, ontologies, and AI-enabled data solutions to deliver business outcomes.

NTT DATA is currently looking for a Lead Snowflake Architect in Dublinfor our growing team in Ireland.

We are looking for a Lead Snowflake Architect to join NTT DATA Ireland's Data Practice, specialising in Snowflake, with a solid background in advising on, shaping and guiding on data architectures, including for Knowledge Graphs, Data Ontologies, Machine Learning, Statistics and Predictive Analytics.

The team you'll be working with:

You will join NTT DATA Ireland's Data Practice, a specialist data team delivering enterprise-scale data platforms, analytics and data-led transformation for clients.

As part of the growing NTT DATA Ireland's Data Practice, you will have a leadership role, and lead our Snowflake-focused architecture capabilities, creating a market-leading and highly talent Snowflake architecture team, covering Knowledge Graphs, Data Ontologies, Machine Learning, Predictive Analytics and Applied Data & AI use cases that help clients move beyond traditional data work to driving business outcomes through data.

You will lead and work alongside data architects, data engineers, platform specialists and consultants across Snowflake's services and offerings to develop practical, production-ready Snowflake-focused architecture solutions.

You thrive in an environment that embraces collaboration with clients and internal teams to plan and execute projects on time and within budget to realise the value of data as a strategic asset.

Experience with Knowledge Graphs, Data Taxonomies, Data Ontologies, Data Context and Data Context Shaping, Generative / Agentic AI, LLMs and AI-enabled products is preferred, with the core of this role more focused on strong, applied Data architecture knowhow, rather than AI capabilities alone.

What you'll be doing:

Snowflake architecture leadership

• Lead architecture teams and being a leading specialist on Snowflake data architectures, being able to steer teams, provide deep knowledge and expertise and lead client architecture work, covering:
• Knowledge Graphs
• Data Ontologies,
• Data Context and Data Context Shaping
• Generative / Agentic AI
• LLMs and AI-enabled products (incl. Explainable AI).
• Architect data platforms, data pipelines and machine learning models for forecasting, classification, recommendation, optimisation, clustering and anomaly detection.
• Apply Snowflake architectures and data techniques to analyse structured and semi-structured datasets.
• Guide teams on Snowflake services (current and future), data architecture and model approaches, selecting appropriate data architectures and data pipeline techniques.
• Manage the relationship with Snowflake, increasing our level of partnering, depth of architecture knowledge and ability to execute.
• Architect for and lead architecture teams through developing reusable notebooks, scripts and pipelines that support repeatable machine learning delivery.
• Support monitoring and continuous improvement of architectures deployed in client environments or in-house data accelerators.

Market and client engagement

• Work with client lead architects, senior developers and client stakeholders (incl. up to and including CxOs) to understand business problems and translate them into analytical tasks.
• Frame ambiguous questions into testable hypotheses, practical Snowflake architectures and measurable data platform-enabled outcomes.
• Communicate Snowflake and end-to-end data architecture insights, and recommendations in a clear, practical and business-relevant way.
• Establish and lead a Snowflake community of practice, such that the team delivers architecture proof-of-concepts, project delivery, estimates, solution options and technical documentation where required.
• Act as a lead market evangelist for NTT DATA's Snowflake capabilities.

Snowflake practice growth

• Work with Data Practice Leadership and Ireland Country Leadership on Snowflake architecture opportunities, leadership and reliable delivery.
• Demonstrate and embed leading Snowflake architecture practices, creating unique value propositions that differentiate NTT DATA's Snowflake capabilities in the market.
• Define and develop Snowflake data architecture propositions, frameworks and methodologies to grow our practice and ensure scalable, repeatable delivery across market sectors.
• Build, mentor, and inspire specialist teams of Snowflake data architects, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and excellence.
• Support Snowflake architects’ career development and Snowflake architecture skills growth within the practice.

What experience you'll bring:

• Strong leadership experience of Snowflake architecture teams, growing Snowflake data architecture practices, and creating an environment for Snowflake architecture talent growth.
• Market-leadership and pioneering Snowflake experience, demonstrable through conferences, articles or similar thought leadership.
• Experience leading and delivering complex Snowflake architectures for Tier 1 clients, developing architecture, capable of enabling a client’s most complex data challenges.
• Clear communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in mixed technical and business teams.
• Consistent track record of working at a senior level, including with client lead architects, senior developers and client stakeholders (incl. up to and including CxOs) to understand business problems and translate them into analytical tasks.
• Leading Snowflake data architecture capabilities, with evidence of being able to steer teams, provide deep knowledge and expertise and lead client architecture work, covering:
• Knowledge Graphs
• Data Ontologies
• Data Context and Data Context Shaping
• Generative / Agentic AI
• LLMs and AI-enabled products (incl. Explainable AI).
